How does Distill work?

Distill checks webpages in the cloud using servers or locally on your computer using browser extensions. Users are notified of any changes. The iOS app allows for instant push notifications from local and cloud monitors. The Watchlist and history view provide detailed information about the changes.

Note that Distill does not check webpages on your phone, so it will not affect your phone's battery. The app serves as a client to view and manage your Watchlist and receive push notifications.

Check Intervals

Local monitors support a minimum check interval of 5 seconds for all plans. Cloud monitors support a 10-minute check interval in the Starter plan, 5 minutes in the Professional plan, and 2 minutes in the Flexi plan.

Alert Actions

You can receive alerts through various channels after setting them as actions:

• Push notifications on phones
• Email
• SMS
• Discord, Slack, and Webhook

Conditions can be set to receive alerts only for important changes that meet certain criteria.

Subscription

The app requires a paid subscription. You can purchase an auto-renewing subscription through an In-App Purchase.

• 1 month Starter ($14.99) and 1 month Professional ($34.99). A 7-day free trial is available for the Starter plan.
• Your subscription will be charged to your iTunes account upon confirmation of purchase and will automatically renew (at the selected duration) unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Current subscriptions cannot be cancelled during the active subscription period. However, you can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal by visiting your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.
